At the bottom of the screenshot is Bartender4, a full ActionBar replacement mod. It provides you with all the features needed to fully customize most aspects of your action and related bars.

It supports 10 action bars (12 buttons each), Stance Bar, Pet Bar, Bag Bar, Micro Menu, and XP/Reputation Bar replacements. Operating in conjunction with Bartender4 is Bartender4_DualSpec which automatically swaps Bartender4 profiles when a talent swap is detected. Addons for raiding (in addition to kat's): Warns you during boss fights when the boss is using certain abilities so you know when to run like hell, decurse, spread out etc. Measures your threat, REQUIRED for DPS and tanking.

May 29, 2015  Ive downloaded most versions and the link you gave me. Still getting lua msgs, thanks anyway.

Particularly for Warlocks, but can be used by any DPS: Provides a cooldown timer, however the most usefull feature of this is Notifications. I will explain how to set these below: 1. First load the addon and type /dotimer, then uncheck simple mode. Click on Notifications and go down to the down arrow next to New Event. For this example, go to Timers > Cooldowns End Timer 4. Under event creation type in the name of the spell you want a notification for, ie Conflagrate. Type anything for notification name, make sure delay is on 0s.

Change type to Alert (down arrow) 7. Scroll down and change the message to what you want, ie Conflagrate Ready, and pick any colour. Make sure each colour is different. In filters check in combat, while solo, while grouped, while alive and which specs you need it for.

Click preview to make sure it shows up then press create. If you did everything right, it will show up like this: Note you can also use this feature for when DOT's end on a target, when you have pulled or lost Aggro, etc. For Healers: - Makes healing in raids MUCH easier. Excellent for casters, shows a much nicer looking cast bar but importantly also shows a red GCD area at the end of casting. Start casting your next spell as soon as the last one goes red to maximise DPS:). Pretty much all the essential addons have been covered so far but I would like to suggest: Skada: Recount substitute that offers more customization and includes a threat tracker, healing absorb option for disc priests, and a not-so-accurate fail tracker. Raid Watch: DBM substitute that offers greater customization.

Vuhdo: Grid style addon that allows for single click casts, generally for healers. Sexycooldown: Creates a 'timeline' of when your spells and ICD gear procs are going to be ready. ArkInvetory: Similar to onebag. Allows for the creation of custom rules that will automatically group certain items into their own section. Mats, gear sets, quest items, consumables, ect.

Quest Helper: Plots what it feels is the most effcient path for you to take to complete quests you have in your log. (doesn't work well with carbonite which has its own similar feature) Carbonite Note: Some jerk placed a password on some of the channels that carbonite uses so if you are tired of being asked for passwords all the time, then enter the options section and basically check or uncheck every box that allows information sharing. Auctioneer: Allows your to quickly sort items by price, post batch auctions, search for items based on criteria you set (I use it to buy gear that D/Es into mats that are worth more than the item cost), and a bunch of other things that I don't understand but could be useful.

Also comes with afeature that lets u auto sell junk items. Atlas Loot: Lets you search items by name/currecy/drop. Healers Must Die: Puts a big red cross above the name plate of a healer in BGs, does not work with Tidy Plates. Talented: Allows you to save, copy, and transfer spec templates. No more spending time clicking points into a spec like a chump. CastYeller2: Can be customized to call out spells that are important for the raid to be aware of. Some examples are Aura Mastery juggling on bosses like Sindragosa, Innervate, tank survival CDs, and CCs on mobs on such an encounter like Valithria.

Hello, here, minding the blog while Tarinae is away. Today we’re going to talk about Addon Options for the most common healer problems. I have a confession.

I was not always a Grid user. Until WOTLK, I used X-perl for raid frames. Microsoft office 2016 pirate bay.

Here’s a screenie. I cringe when I see it now. However, at the time, it was totally adequate for my needs and what I needed to track. My point is this: addons are there, and infinitely customizable, to help you see what YOU need to see. Before you start blindly switching the way you do things, you should be feeling “hey, my healing would be much more effective IF I had a way of knowing” This article is intended to point you to some addons that might help you with specific problems you’re having healing.
