Particularly for Warlocks, but can be used by any DPS: Provides a cooldown timer, however the most usefull feature of this is Notifications. I will explain how to set these below: 1. First load the addon and type /dotimer, then uncheck simple mode. Click on Notifications and go down to the down arrow next to New Event. For this example, go to Timers > Cooldowns End Timer 4. Under event creation type in the name of the spell you want a notification for, ie Conflagrate. Type anything for notification name, make sure delay is on 0s.

Change type to Alert (down arrow) 7. Scroll down and change the message to what you want, ie Conflagrate Ready, and pick any colour. Make sure each colour is different. In filters check in combat, while solo, while grouped, while alive and which specs you need it for.

Click preview to make sure it shows up then press create. (doesn't work well with carbonite which has its own similar feature) Carbonite Note: Some jerk placed a password on some of the channels that carbonite uses so if you are tired of being asked for passwords all the time, then enter the options section and basically check or uncheck every box that allows information sharing. Auctioneer: Allows your to quickly sort items by price, post batch auctions, search for items based on criteria you set (I use it to buy gear that D/Es into mats that are worth more than the item cost), and a bunch of other things that I don't understand but could be useful.

Also comes with afeature that lets u auto sell junk items. Atlas Loot: Lets you search items by name/currecy/drop. Healers Must Die: Puts a big red cross above the name plate of a healer in BGs, does not work with Tidy Plates. Talented: Allows you to save, copy, and transfer spec templates. No more spending time clicking points into a spec like a chump. CastYeller2: Can be customized to call out spells that are important for the raid to be aware of. Some examples are Aura Mastery juggling on bosses like Sindragosa, Innervate, tank survival CDs, and CCs on mobs on such an encounter like Valithria.

Here’s a screenie. I cringe when I see it now. However, at the time, it was totally adequate for my needs and what I needed to track. My point is this: addons are there, and infinitely customizable, to help you see what YOU need to see. Before you start blindly switching the way you do things, you should be feeling “hey, my healing would be much more effective IF I had a way of knowing” This article is intended to point you to some addons that might help you with specific problems you’re having healing.
